built to last a lifetime

We gravitate to using traditional methods of construction, though they are more time consuming. Every step contributes to building a better product. Everything but the shank is made from leather, allowing components to wear together through the life of the boot and mold to the foot. We see potential for exploration in time-honoured techniques and the possibility for endless growth. Tradition allows us to reimagine what footwear should be and outgrow what we have become accustomed to by standardized sizing, disposable materials, and industrialized processes.

With TRADITIONAL TECHNIQUES, THE POTENTIAL FOR EXPLORATION & GROWTH IS ENDLESS.

our
boots

A pair of our boots can take from 40 - 120 hours to complete, depending on the complexity of the design. They feature traditional fancy stitch patterns, ornate inlay, vintage and contemporary inspired imagery. We strive to use the best materials that are available to us and allow time for each of the hundreds of steps to be completed with patience and care.

We draw inspiration from the bootmakers of the Southern States, from our own heritage in Louisiana, as well as from handmade logging boots of the Pacific Northwest, the region from where we hail. We connect with the heritage of shoemaking in Canada investing in developing understanding of bootmaking in Calgary.

Basic boot styles offered are classic cowboy, lace-up packer, welted derby, stitch-down derby.
