The fair curve is a curve which is smooth without sharp changes in direction over any portion of their length. Making cowboy boots is an artistic production because it aspires to represent an ideal form that also serves a function of fitting the wearer. The flowing lines found in a cowboy boot exhibit the elegance and intricacy of construction embodied in a handmade boot. Fair curves are pervasive throughout the boot and integrated into the form and design - from the shape of the last to the ornamental flourishes of the stitch patterns. The edges of the sole are sanded, trimmed, burnished, and polished. Blending one surface into another showcases the refinement of each step.
When it comes to a HandMade boot The 'fair curve' of the Form is considered from every angle

Our boots are made from all leather pieces cut from raw leather sides. The bottom of the boot is made using vegetable tanned soling leathers, the tops are made with a colourful selection of chrome tanned leathers. Each part is made from raw material and shaped by hand; this allows for continuity and customization at every step.
A bespoke boot is sized according to the clients' measurements and a last is shaped to fit these measurements. We use traditional methods that are not employed in industrially made boots. Our boots are welted by hand; this is done by carving a holdfast into the leather insole. A leather welt strip is then stitched to the insole through the vamp of the boot and anchors the upper to the insole to make a weather resistant and perpetually repairable boot.
The sole is stitched to the welt and the waist of the sole is secured with wood pegs. Where most industrially made boots often use tacks to secure the shank area, wood pegging is a traditional method used in bootmaking that also limits deterioration of rust in the insole and sole. The heel stack is made by stacking layers of soling leather.
